Day 2 June 7,2007

We have a guest speaker. On Thursday June 7, 2007 we had Gary show us how a SAP system operates. SAP is a
German word. It is a really large database for a very large company. We did exercises on how the order entry system is
inside, and there are over 20,000 pieces of data involved in the entire system. This is without the data to be entered in
the system. It costs 10,000 to 11,000 for this software. I think it is a good piece of software but being so complex I
would bet that things go wrong or need corrected all the time. I guess that is the opportunity of an IT person.
